Meizhou cultural performances highlight first Cultural and Natural Heritage Day

A cultural week showcasing Hakka intangible cultural heritage was held in Meizhou from June 23 to 28, 2017.
The event featured a series of performances and exhibitions, including puppet shows and lion dances. Zheng Huanyu, general director of the opening ceremony, said this is the first time intangible cultural heritages were performed indoors in the city.
Meizhou now has 295 intangible cultural heritages of different levels and 290 inheritors.
