9. The beauty of aerospace: FY-4A
The FengYun-4A Geostationary Meteorological Satellite, made by China independently, was officially delivered and put into use in September to shoot a photo of the earth. The photo was highly admired by the public when WeChat changed their login screen to it Sept 25.
FY-4A is useful for helping people predict weather, and can also make contributions to China's technical abilities in many fields, such as climate change and ecological environment monitoring.
