Over the past three decades, Wang Xinfu, a professor of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing, has been exploring on canvas the infinity of colors. He takes delight in layering on thick, colored lines, by which he seeks a balance between free strokes of paints and a sense of control.
