Govt to cautiously restart personal exchanges with other nations

China is strengthening cooperation with various countries in joint prevention and control of the COVID-19 and resuming personal exchanges in a gradual and orderly manner, a senior official said on Sunday.
Speaking at a news conference on the release of a white paper on China's fight against COVID-19 in Beijing, Vice-Foreign Minister Ma Zhaoxu said that China has established fast-track service for personnel exchanges with South Korea, Germany and Singapore.
While ensuring the containment of the pandemic, China will also discuss with other countries to establish "fast lanes" to provide support for resumption of work and production, maintaining the stability of the international industrial chain and supply chain, and promoting the development of the Chinese and world economy, Ma said.
