Jiang Shikun, December 1969 - April 12, 2016

former Party secretary of Qinglong county, Guizhou province, passed away due to cardiac arrest on April 12, 2016

During his tenure, Jiang worked tirelessly to alleviate poverty in the county. It was under Jiang's guidance the county underwent rapid urban expansion and the "Qinglong Model" of poverty alleviation paid dividends. A small tourism industry experienced fast growth and now plays a major part in the local economy.
