FM commends development of China-Indonesia ties

State Councilor and Foreign Minister Wang Yi on Monday commended the development of China-Indonesia relations, saying they have set an example of mutually beneficial cooperation between countries in the region and a model of strength through unity between developing countries.
Speaking at a news conference on the sidelines of the fifth session of the 13th National People's Congress, Wang said China will work for the early completion and operation of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway to further boost Indonesia's post-COVID development and the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
China will also provide support and assistance to Indonesia in hosting the Group of 20 Summit this year to enable the bloc to make greater contributions in promoting world economic recovery and improving global governance, he added.
