IWGA President Jose Perurena Lopez commended the event's high-quality organization and fantastic venues. He added that the athletes were satisfied with the facilities and transportation services.

Organizers said the competitions, which followed the standards of the World Games, serve as an important rehearsal and prelude ahead of the official opening of the World Games 2025 Chengdu in August.

Scheduled to run from Aug 7 to 17, the Chengdu edition is expected to draw thousands of athletes from around the world to compete in 35 sports. Chengdu will be the first city on the Chinese mainland to host the event.
