Fragrance of China blooms in Nepal


A three-day lecture series held at the China Cultural Center in Nepal from March 28 to 30 showcased China’s millennia-old incense culture and its modern relevance.
More than 100 participants from diverse fields in Nepal attended, including professionals in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Indian traditional medicine (Ayurveda) , enthusiasts of Tibetan medicine and incense, members of the Nepal Chinese Guide Association, local Nepali Chinese-language teachers, and students from the center’s Chinese-language classes.
The lecture "Traditional Chinese Incense and Wellness" was delivered by Mo Fei, a renowned Chinese incense scholar and author of On Incense Studies.
Gongque Jiacuo, a representative inheritor of Tibetan incense-making from Ruo’ergai county in Aba Tibetan and Qiang autonomous prefecture, gave a lecture titled "The Millennia-Long Heritage of Tibetan Medicine and Incense."
