26th vegetable fair opens in Shandong, featuring green future

Print PrintThe 26th China (Shouguang) International Vegetable Sci-Tech Fair kicked off in Shouguang, East China's Shandong province, on April 20 and will run until May 30. The fair opened simultaneously in Uzbekistan and five sub-venues across China.
The 450,000-square-meter fair once again features the theme "green, science and future" and includes 11 indoor exhibition halls, high-yield solar greenhouses, a vegetable museum, a flower garden, and an outdoor premium agricultural products exhibition area, showcasing over 2,600 premium vegetable varieties and more than 80 advanced planting models.
Additionally, over 20 special activities, including a vegetable park development conference, an event promoting the culture of Jia Sixie, the agricultural sage of Shouguang of the Northern Wei Dynasty (386-534), and a vegetable culture and art festival.

Since its inception in 2000, the vegetable fair has evolved from a regional event into a national 5A-level agricultural exhibition, renowned worldwide. It has attracted over 34 million participants from more than 50 countries and regions.
Over the years, the fair has strived to integrate vegetables, the economy, and trade with culture and tourism, becoming an important platform for technological demonstration, industry cooperation, agricultural tourism, and talent and investment attraction.
