Book fair illustrates brilliant designs

Illustrations, whether for literary books or textbooks, enrich the reading experiences for many as they add aesthetic value.
At the ongoing Fourth Guardian Art Book Fair in Beijing, fine book illustrations are on display as an integrated part of reminding people that these paintings are sometimes stand-alone, brilliant artworks.
The event returns to the Guardian Art Center and runs until Sunday, showing selected books of various themes, sizes, and rare designs.
The fair was launched to offer people a visual treat emphasizing how illustrated design and packaging draw readers to open a book and be touched by the content.
The fair reminds attendees of the special touches and fruitful time spent flipping through a good book, especially in the digital era.
