Therefore to start a new upsurge of studying and implementing the important thought of the "Three Represents" has a direct bearing on the overall situation of the Party and nation's work; it has a direct bearing on the magnificent goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way and rejuvenation of the Chinese nation as well as the long-term development of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics. We must fully recognize the significance of starting a new upsurge of studying and implementing the important thought of the "Three Represents", and make fresh achievements both in arming our minds with the important thought of the "Three Represents" and using it to guide our practice.

The important thought of the "Three Represents", as a guiding ideology that the Party must follow for a long time to come, is a fundamental guideline for development of various undertakings of our Party and the country, as well as a scientific guidance for army building and reform.
