亨利：梅西無法獨自承受阿根廷之重

The former France international is adamant that other players will have to step up to the mark if the Albiceleste are to triumph in Brazil this summer.

Thierry Henry says Lionel Messi cannot carry Argentina to World Cup glory all on his own, claiming that his team-mates will eventually have to "help him out".

Henry, though, says Alessandro Sabella's men can ill afford to rely so heavily on their star attacker if they are to have any hope of lifting the World Cup.

"Messi doesn’t play all by himself, so let’s talk about Argentina," the New York Red Bulls striker said of his former Barcelona team-mate in an interview with Fifa.com.

"It's clear that if Argentina win, Messi will play well. But, at some point, the guys around him will have to help him out.

"Has Argentina's time come? They haven't won the World Cup in quite some time. So it's not really a 'Messi problem'.

"The team has to play as a unit, work hard, and only then will you see Messi performing at the top of his game – it's as simple as that."

While Messi has made plenty of headlines in Brazil so far, Henry has been impressed by numerous other players, including a Germany attacker whom the Frenchman believes does not get the credit he deserves.

"Thomas Muller doesn't get talked about as much as Luis Suarez, Robin van Persie and Luis Suarez, but he keeps finding a way to stick the ball in the net," the Arsenal icon enthused.
