A man chose to stay behind bars just so he could get a divorce. The man, surnamed Xu, was caught for theft for the fifth time in Zhejiang province. Xu earns more than 10,000 yuan per month, a relatively high salary, but he stole several hundred yuan worth of items to intentionally get himself locked up. He returned the stolen goods and money the moment he was caught. Xu said he was forced by his parents to marry his wife, whom he never loved.
