Dairy sector scales new heights

Agriculture Minister Han Changfu told reporters before the opening of the annual National People's Congress that large-scale dairy farms now account for 50 percent of the milk supply in the dairy sector, and use of machinery is commonplace.
農(nóng)業(yè)部部長(zhǎng)韓長(zhǎng)賦在全國(guó)人大會(huì)議開幕前對(duì)記者表示，大規(guī)模奶牛養(yǎng)殖場(chǎng)占業(yè)內(nèi)牛奶供應(yīng)的50%，機(jī)械化操作也很普遍。

Sales and production of the top 20 milk enterprises now takes up half of the whole sector, he said.
韓長(zhǎng)賦稱，前20家乳品企業(yè)的銷售額和生產(chǎn)量已經(jīng)占到了該行業(yè)的50%。

"All those changes are indicators that China's dairy sector is heading for rejuvenation," he said.
“這些變化表明，中國(guó)奶業(yè)正在大踏步向著振興前進(jìn)。”

Han said the authority will continue to step up the regulation on milk sources and the raising of dairy herds, and encourage the development of large-scale enterprises and name brands in the sector.
韓長(zhǎng)賦表示，政府將繼續(xù)加強(qiáng)對(duì)奶源和奶牛飼養(yǎng)的監(jiān)管，鼓勵(lì)大規(guī)模企業(yè)的發(fā)展，打造行業(yè)品牌。

"I believe that someday foreign tourists will purchase Chinese milk powder when they visit China," he said.
韓長(zhǎng)賦說：“我相信，有一天外國(guó)人到中國(guó)旅游會(huì)買中國(guó)奶粉。”
