Thankfully American billionaire Donald Trump gave up his idea to run for president this year, but that doesn't mean he's staying out of it. Trump has been one of the most prominent birthers, a group of people who refuse to believe, despite evidence, that Barack Obama is American. Weeks ago, Trump announced via social media that he would make a huge announcement regarding the US president. It was a waste of time.

Disney to release new Star Wars

Disney recently bought Lucasfilm, the company responsible for the Star Wars series. The company announced it will release a new movie, Star Wars: Episode 7, in the near future. George Lucas has not been named the director of the film, which is a little bit worrisome. But I am excited about the possibility of Michael Cera being cast as Luke Skywalker. I mean, the kid proved his skills in Arrested Development.

Tragic storm = Great local TV

The story dominating the news this week has been the super storm, Hurricane Sandy, that is pummeling the east coast of the United States. It's been a devastating storm - destroying property, causing power outrages and flooding cities. It's such a tragedy.
