The World Future Energy Summit 2013 was held between Jan 15 and 17 in Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates. The summit has been held for five consecutive years and aims to provide a future energy solution platform for the world’s sustainable development.
Topics of the summit covered renewable energy, clean transportation, water treatment and conservation, ecosystem restoration and urban water supply. The event attracted more than 600 global companies. The administrative committee of Zhongguancun Science Park made its debut at the event with five Zhongguancun-based companies.
The Zhongguancun companies brought new products to the exhibition, including a solar energy controller from Remote Power Ltd, static vary compensation (SVC) equipment from Ponovo Power Ltd, and other world-class new technologies and devices.
Their exhibit stands received visitors from different regions and countries. The companies felt it was a good opportunity to explore bigger markets and overseas clients.
Xuan Hong, vice-director of the science park's administrative committee, took part in the event.
