The Nakeli Courier Station is located in Nakeli village of Ning’er county, where is 22 kilometers away from Ning’er and 24 kilometers away from Simao, and was an important courier station on the Ancient Tea Horse Road. The station covers an area of 4.67 hectares and is surrounded by mountains, where two rivers meet. It resembles a landscape painting and has many attractions, such as an ancient museum, a square and a bamboo bridge. The station was placed under the county’s protection as a cultural relic in 2005.
